How to Open a Metamask Wallet on PC
What is Metamask Wallet
Metamask was formed in 2016 by a blockchain company called ConsenSys, which specializes in Ethereum based products and applications. According to Bloomberg, Metamask's browser extension was used by 400,000 people in 2020. Metamask can be used on Windows, IOS, and Android. You may use it on your PC, Laptop, or Smartphone.
Metamask is one of the wallets that allows storing NFTs.
Step 1. Download the Metamask App
Visit https://metamask.io on your computer and click on the DOWNLOAD button in the top left corner. You will be redirected to the page with the options to choose whether you want to install it on google chrome, IOS, or Android. Select the suitable one for you. Further, the Chrome or Apple stores will be opened where you can click on "Add" or "Install." Please note that the Metamask wallet is completely free.
Step 2. Installing & Setting up Metamask Wallet
When you open the app for the first time, you will be asked whether you already have a wallet or you are a new user. Since we create it for the first time, we have to choose "Create a Wallet." The policy window will pop out. Click on Agree. (Metamask will never collect and share your data, IP address, or ask for a seed phrase).
After that, you will be asked to create a password of 8 characters long. (I suggest that you don't use the same password as your email or social media account).

Once you created your password, Metamask will provide you with a Seed Phrase. Make sure to have your paper and a pencil next to you, then click on Reveal a SeedPhrase. Seed Phrase is crucial, and it is used to recover and access your wallet. The seed phrase must be written on a piece of paper and stored in a safe place. Write the Seed Phrase precisely as it is written on your screen, including capital letters and a sequence of words. I also suggest writing 2-3 copies and keep them in different places. (Do not share your seed phrase with anyone).
Did you write and check your SeedPhrase? Great, click Next. Metamask will ask for a confirmation of the SeedPhrase to make sure that you wrote it correctly - do it and click Confirm.
